Complete overhaul
THE SECOND LIFE OF A JENBACHER ENGINE
In accordance with INNIO’s factory regulations, Jenbacher gas engines require a major overhaul at 60,000 / 80,000 hours of operation (overhaul times may vary depending on engine series and type). The overhaul programme is the responsibility of the INNIO Jenbacher overhaul centre, which is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Compliance with this standard ensures that all engines undergoing the overhaul programme comply with the same quality and performance standards as new engines. Jenbacher equipment that has undergone an overhaul programme receives the manufacturer’s warranty.
As part of the programme, there is an opportunity to combine a Jenbacher engine overhaul and upgrade to improve productivity and reliability.
SHORT BLOCK programme – general engine repair
The Short Block repair option offers optimum cost and allows the use of remanufactured parts. An additional benefit is the option of technical retrofitting.
The scope of the programme includes the following:
New spare parts:
- camshaft
- bearings
- pistons
- cylinder heads
- connecting rods
- silencer
- spark plugs and oil filter
Refurbished spare parts:
- crankcase,
- crankshaft
- cylinder heads
Optional engine painting and leak test can be carried out.
LONG BLOCK programme – general engine and auxiliary equipment repairs
The Long Block version of the programme is an extended version of the overhaul programme, tailored to the specifics of your engine. As part of this programme, the engine undergoes comprehensive testing on INNIO’s Jenbacher test rig.
The scope of the programme includes the following:
- all spare parts and Short Block programme work
- generator and heat exchanger repair
- intercooler replacement
- new exhaust manifold
Other optional services: engine painting, engine test run, engine upgrades (power boost, etc.).
GENSET BLOCK programme – general engine repairs, auxiliary equipment and generator repairs
The GenSet Block scope repair programme includes the repair of the entire module.
The scope of the programme includes the following:
- Long Block programme
- New alternator (from supplier),
- New heat exchanger (from supplier),
- Upgraded control cabinet and new connection elements.
Other optional services available: engine painting, engine test run, engine revamping, wiring diagram check.
